Field

Description

Match Name

The name of the match. It is best to give your match a unique name, especially when sharing your results online and through the Orion Mobile App (Scopos no longer supports Orion Mobile App, including the ability to scan targets. Instead customers may use the all new Rezults at rezults.scopos.tech.).

Match Directory

The location within Windows that all files pertaining to this match are stored, include the match's data file, target images, and log files.

Read only field.

Match File

The name of the match data file.

Read only field.

Start Date

The start date of the match. This field does not effect how Orion scores paper targets, but does effect how the match is presented online and within the Orion Mobile App. May not be set to a value greater than the End Date.

End Date

The end date of the match. This field does not effect how Orion scores paper targets, but does effect how the match is presented online and within the Orion Mobile App. May not be set to a value less than the Start Date.

Type of Match

Sets the importance of the match. Field does not effect scoring. However, the field does effect how the match is displayed online and the athlete in this match's Score History.

Match Type

Intended Use

Training

Daily training or practice.

Practice Match

A club's training session going through a formal course of fire.

Postal Match

A competition who's targets are sent via the mail for someone else to score.

Local Match

A shoulder to shoulder competition with multiple athletes and clubs attending, most of whom traveled less than 2 hours.

League Game

A competition between two clubs within a league.

Virtual Match

A shoulder to shoulder competition with multiple hosts and locations.

League Championship

The championship competition for a league.

Regional Match

A shoulder to shoulder competition with many athletes and clubs attending, most of whom traveled more than 2 hours.

Regional Championship

A uniquely important regional match.

National Match

A shoulder to shoulder competition with many athletes and clubs attending, most of whom traveled more than 8 hours.

National Championship

A uniquely important national match.

Backup

Enables or disables the cloud backup settings for this match.

No Online Backup: No match files are backed up to Orion's cloud.

Backup only the Match File: Only the match data file is backed up to Orion's cloud. Image files are not backed up. This is the recommended setting.

Backup Match and Image Files: All match files, including the target image files are backed up to Orion's cloud.

NOTE: This field only effects this match. It does not effect other matches and does not effect Orion's database cloud backup settings.

Rulebook

The Orion rulebook in use with this match.

This field is read only after the match is saved for the first time.

NOTE: For competitions ran under Civilian Marksmanship Program Air Gun rules use USA Shooting Air Rifle or USA Shooting Air Pistol rulebooks.

Decimal Scoring

If checked, all results will be calculated using decimal values. If unchecked, all results will be calculated using integer scoring.

This field is read only after the match is saved for the first time.

Reentry

A reentry match allows athletes to compete multiple times.

No Reentry: Default value, athletes only shoot once.

Highest Score from Event: The athlete's top event score is used in the calculation of results.

Highest Score from Stage: The top score from each of the stages are summed together to calculate results.

This field is deprecated. Orion's reentry capability will be rewritten and improved in a future release.
