Due to the similarities between the USA Shooting Air Rifle rules and the CMP Air Rifle rules Orion does not have a separate "CMP Air Rifle" rulebook. Match directors who wish to conduct a practice match or competition under CMP Air Rifle rules may do so in Orion by selecting the USA Shooting Air Rifle rulebook.

CMP sanctioned matches may report their scores to the CMP using the USA Shooting Air Pistol rulebook.
