A trans athlete is someone who participates in sports and whose gender identity differs from the sex they were assigned at birth. The Shooting Sports is one of the safest sports for trans athletes. It is common place that male and female genders compete in the same competition, without regard to their gender identity, giving males, females, and non-binary athletes equal opportunities to compete. Further, the clothing worn by athletes is the same irregardless to gender identity, allowing athletes of any gender to feel comfortable competing in their sports clothing. |
