Adaptations for USA Shooting Air Rifle

USA Shooting is the United State's National Governing Body for both ISSF events and WSPS (World Shooting Para Sport) events.

SH3 Paralympic Category

The Paralympic SH3 category was added as it is commonly used in the United States to describe visually impaired athletes. SH3 athletes may record their Score History for standing and prone events. However, as no rulebook describes Finals for SH3 athletes Stage and Event Styles are not included for SH3 Finals.

Prone Courses of Fire

The 20, 40, and 60 shot Prone events, along with the Prone Finals are intended for Paralympic athletes. SH1, SH2, and SH3 athletes may record their Score History for these events. However, Stage and Event Styles are not included for non-disabled athletes for the Prone events.

Time Limits

The WSPS rulebook describes two different sets of time limits for the 60 shot Prone course of fire. 50 minutes for SH1 athletes and 1 hours for SH2 athletes. Instead of offering  both as options, Orion with Athena always uses the 1 hour time limit within the range script.

Time limits for 40 and 20 shot courses of fire are proportional to the time limits specified for 60 shots.
