Taking Photographs of Targets Indoors

Scopos no longer supports Orion Mobile App, including the ability to scan targets. Instead customers may use the all new Rezults at rezults.scopos.tech.

Problem Description

Taking quality photographs of mobile friendly targets requires good lighting, 2000 lux is the minimum. Taking photographs of targets while indoors is an almost assured way of having a blurry image that won't get scored accurately, or may be rejected by Orion out right. This is because most indoor lighting is between 400 and 500 lux, well below the minimum.

Best Practice

All target images should be captured outdoors. If indoors is necessary, use professional lighting equipment to achieve 2000lux.
