JROTC cadets who go through marksmanship training are eligible to earn qualification badges based on scores they shoot on record fire days. There are three badges Marksman, Sharpshooter, and Expert. As of version 2.3.12 Orion can track a cadets progress in earning each of these badges. The instructions below are specific for the Army JROTC qualification awards as described in Cadet Command Regulation 145-2, Appendix N. However, due to the similarities these instructions should apply to JROTC qualification awards for the Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force.
