It is often beneficial to associate a shooter or team with their coach. This way the match director knows who to ask if there is a question. Also, Orion can print out the coach's name on the result bulletin.
Adding a coach to the match.
Coaches in Orion are competitors, albeit non-firing competitors. The first step is therefore to add the coach as a 'Match Competitor.' Simply click on the new athlete button
(Orion will take you to the last row of the 'Match Competitors' tab), then add the coach's information.
Associating a team with a coach.
1.Click on the 'Match Teams' tab. Find the team the coach belongs to.
2.Under the 'Coach' column, select the coach from the drop down list.
3.Hit the 'tab' key on your keyboard.
Hint: When associating a coach to a team, Orion will also associate that same coach to all the team members.
Associating a athlete with a coach.
1.Click on the 'Match Competitors' tab. Find the athlete to associate with the coach.
2.Under the 'Coach' column, select the coach from the drop down list.
