Firing Line |
Firing Line is the line that athletes are positioned behind to shoot their rifles or pistols. Firing Lines are usually a defined distance from their targets. In air rifle and air pistol for example the firing line is 10m from the targets. |
Firing Point |
A Firing Point is a designed position that an athlete competes from. In most competitions there is one athlete per firing point per relay. A typical range could have 10s and sometimes 100s of firing points. |
