An Event Mapping File maps the View Configuration a Display should show for a given Display Event. Each Display may use separate Display Event Mapping files (or all use the same one).
Creating or Editing a Display Event Mapping File Through Orion
To create or edit an existing Display Event Mapping File, from Orion's menu bar click on Athena -> Spectator Displays -> Edit Display Event Mapping File
Creating or Editing a Display Event Mapping File Manually
Display Event Mapping files may be edit manually through your favorite text editor (e.g. vim). See Event Assignment Files for more information.
Assigning a Display Unit to use a Display Event Mapping File
To assign which Display Event Mapping File a Display should use, in the Range Control tab double click the row representing the Display Unit. The EST Display Form will open. The Display Event Mapping Files listed, are those found in the My Matches/DATABASE/Display/Event Assignments directory.
