What kind of targets are required?

Orion targets have unique characteristics that make it possible to score electronically. First, they are made with higher grade target paper, allowing cleaner shot holes. Second, the are sized to feed through commodity scanners. Third, Orion targets have special markings on them that the Orion software uses to expedite the scoring process.

Air Rifle - both Orion Air Rifle Targets or any ISSF approved single bull air rifle target measuring 10cm by 10cm may be used. Orion offers 12 bull, 5 bull, and Basic Marksmanship Course air rifle targets.

Air Pistol - both Orion Air Pistol Targets or any ISSF approved air pistol target with 17 by 17cm dimensions may be used.

BB Gun - only Orion BB Gun Targets and Scorecards may be used. Orion offers a competition target with full scoring rings, a practice target with reduced scoring rings, and a test answersheet.

Smallbore Rifle - only Orion Targets may be used. Orion offers 50ft, 50yd., 50m, and 100yd. targets.

Smallbore Pistol - only Orion Targets may be used. Orion offers conventional slow and timed and rapid fire target.

Centerfire Pistol - only Orion Scorecards may be used. Orion offers scorecards for conventional pistol.

Rimfire Sporter - only Orion Targets and Scorecards may be used.

Shotgun - only Orion Scorecards may be used.

Silhouette - only Orion Scorecards may be used.
