Reentry Merge Method

The Reentry merge method is used to combine multiple attempts at the same Course of Fire.

Common use cases include qualifications that allow athletes to shoot multiple attempts, and competitions where athletes shoot the same match multiple times with different rifle categories.

Tournament Members of a Tournament using a Reentry merged result list are generally expected to use the same match structure.

Because all Tournament Members of a Reentry result list are expected to use the same match structure, Course Of Fire Definition, Ranking Rule Definition, and Result List Format Definition will be populated automatically based on the first Tournament Member. Avoid modifying these fields unless your Tournament requires more fine-grained customization.

Options

Event Type tells Rezults which event level to take the highest score of for each member match. For example, a competition that allows athletes to shoot multiple 3x10 matches and takes the highest score of each position across all attempts would use STAGE. To take the highest score of each full 3x10, EVENT would be used.

Course Of Fire Definition is the Set Name for the Course of Fire definition the merged result list should use. Defaults to the first Course Of Fire Definition of the first Tournament Member.

Ranking Rule Definition is the Set Name for the Ranking Rule definition used to rank the merged results. Defaults to the first Ranking Rule Definition of the first Tournament Member.

Result List Format Definition is the Set Name for the Result List Format definition used to display the merged results. Defaults to the first Result List Format Definition of the first Tournament Member.

All three definition fields must be valid Set Names.
