Changing the Point of Contact for your Orion License

Each Orion account has a primary and secondary point of contact. These points of contact are responsible maintaining their Orion account licenses and account information.

There are three ways to change the primary or secondary points of contact on an Orion account.

Option 1: Online

If you know your Orion portal account number and password:

1.Log in to Orion 's customer portal.
If you forgot your portal account's password but have access to it's email address, your password may be reset online.

2.On the right side of the page, under "Quick Links" click on Update Your Customer Information

3.Update your account's point of contact information and click "Save."

Option 2: By Email

For security reasons Orion's support team can not change an account's point of contact over the phone. We must have a written email request from the existing point of contact (his or her email). Or, if your Orion account is represented by an organization with a unique and specific Internet domain, we may also accept an email request from a different user with the same Internet Domain.

Our support email address is found on our Contact Us page.

Examples

For example, say your Orion account is for West Potomac High School, and your primary point of contact is "bill@westpotomac.com", and secondary account is "julian@westpotomac.com".

We can accept a change of account request by email either from bill@westpotomac.com or from julian@westpotomac.com.

We can also accept a change of account request from jackie@westpotomac.com since it is from the same unique domain representing the school.

We can not accept a change of account request from jackie@gmail.com, since it is not from the unique domain representing the school.

Option 3: Written Letter

The final option is to make the change of account request with a written letter, with your school or clubs letterhead.
